Habitat Freebies

We have been busy with our habitat unit.

Last week we finished up the savanna.
This is an example of our Savanna Alliteration. There are 10 different animals for the kiddos to pick from. For such a simple little thing, it ends up being a pretty extensive lesson and takes us quite a while to complete. But they are adorable.

If you're interested, they are the freebie (check out the download preview :D) included with "Happening Habitats".

This week the kiddos will be presenting our poem of the month. I've been using the poem forever and have no idea where I originally found it.
Click the pic if you'd like a copy of the poem, parent letter and small pocket chart cards. I am having the kids use those small pocket charts I got at Target's dollar spot this summer. I picked up four of them. It works out great to have 4 different sets of the cards out for the kiddos to work on with those small pocket charts.

Have a fabulous week teacher peeps!
