I've been slowing things down a bit around my house.
It's been wonderful.
Those last couple days up until Christmas were crazy! I NEVER thought I'd get it all done. But I did. And it was fabulous.
For Christmas dessert, I made this again.
People you HAVE to try it. There is never any left! It is such a huge hit!
So all my catching up on sleep and last minute Christmas preparation has made me late for the party...but I'm joining anyway.
I loved "11 in '11" and now Miss Kindergarten & a teeny tiny teacher are hosting "12 in '12"... it's still 2012 so I figure I'm ok. :D
12. Favorite movie you watched:
I really enjoyed the cheesy wonderfulness of it all. :D
11. Favorite TV series:
I like so many TV shows. It's kinda bad. But the two that came to mind immediately were:
& Modern Family
The two couldn't be more different. Modern Family makes me laugh until my cheeks hurt! Gotta love Phil Dunphy!
10. Favorite restaurant:
Same as last year - Wood Ranch. My love for this place is mostly because of this:
Raspberry Pomegranate Martini
9. Favorite new thing you tried:
Selling on TpT. I love that I can share my ideas with so many different teachers.
8. Favorite gift you got:
iPhone 5 - I finally traded up from my DroidX - a FABULOUS move on my part! I gifted myself! I love it.
7. Favorite thing you pinned:
I seriously cannot choose one thing I've pinned as my favorite. However, HOW SMART AND SIMPLE IS THIS?! These are my favorite kind of pins, the "Why didn't I think of that?!" stuff.
6. Favorite blog post:
I am so thrilled by all of the views this post has had. It is something that is VERY exemplative of me as a teacher - ORGANIZATION and PLANNING.
5. Best accomplishment:
Finally making my planners available to everyone.
4. Favorite picture:
I didn't really take many pictures this year other than of my kiddos at school - but I DID get a camera for Christmas.... so look out 2013!
3. Favorite memory:
My husband and I finally got a weekend away this past summer. We went to Lowes in Coronado Bay. So relaxing and fun!
2. Goal for 2013:
Walking, stretching and moving more!
