If you don't know them ... go check them out! They have so much fabulous stuff to share. AND since there are two of them - they are constantly coming up with new a wonderful things!
Anyhoo, they are having a linky party.
I told them I haven't found anything.
They told me to think about it. Surely I have SOMETHING.
The other day, I was getting ready to go out and doing my hair while yapping with Christy about this whole Fabulous Finds thing and my lack of finds... and it dawned on me, I DO have a couple things I have found recently.
As many of you know... my hair went through a bit of a transition.
Well let me tell you THAT was tough and not entirely for the reason you think. I am a HUGE hair product junkie. As in, I collect hair products the same way I collect fonts and clipart. I was going through extreme lack of hair product withdrawals. I would go into stores and see the pretty packaging, smell the wonderful scents, and be bummed that I had no use for it. Withdrawals people! MAJOR withdrawals!
It is a problem - but I have no intention of working on it. Don't judge.
Anyway, there way a long period of time that I couldn't use my hair products. At all. AND my daughter could. So she did. And most just vanished from under my vanity. Poof!
That bare cabinet has been driving me nuts! I have been working on restocking it. Recently, I added a couple of fab things after getting trial products through BIRCHBOX.
...do you know about Birchbox? Beauty product samples sent to your home in a fantastic box each month? Pretty awesome.
After getting samples on these two products, I HAD to get the full size versions.
|Orofluido is a little miracle fluid/oil. You only use a TINY bit and it smells AWESOME!|
|Oscar Blandi Texture and Volume Spray. Totally love this stuff. You just need a little to add some great, non-stiff, non-sticky volume with a light hold to your hair.|
The headshot now looks like this:
SEE - lots of volume! Way more than I had prior to the whole bald stint. :D
My school find is actually NOT from 2013... so I am cheating. I really found these in 2012. Don't tell Christy and Tammy.
I use these oil pastels a lot in class on my anchor charts and whatever. They are a lot like crayons except smoother, they have more pigment than crayons, come in a wide variety of colors, and are easy to work with. PLUS - unlike the hair products - they are pretty inexpensive.
Go check out all of the other fabulous finds linked up to Christy and Tammy's party!
